Should I use the default or alternate port SMTP settings?

An increasing number of ISP's are blocking SMTP on the default port (25) - for this reason, if your email program supports it (most current versions do) we recommend you use our alternate port SMTP settings when using our AuthSMTP authenticated SMTP mail relay.
